Client Overview

The client is a healthcare and cancer research organization operating in the oncology sector. The initiative focused on supporting individuals diagnosed with lymphoma who had completed their active treatment phase. The objective was to collaboratively design a survivorship-focused digital intervention with inputs from both healthcare professionals and patients, ensuring clinical relevance and patient-centered care.

Radiant Digital was engaged as the technology and delivery partner to translate this clinical vision into a practical, user-friendly, and scalable digital solution that could be rapidly tested and refined with real users.

Challenge

The client identified a significant gap in post-treatment support for individuals diagnosed with lymphoma. While medical treatment addressed the disease, there was no structured intervention program available to guide survivors through life after treatment. This lack of support limited access to reliable information, lifestyle guidance, and survivorship-focused resources during recovery.

Additionally, the client required a partner who could align clinical intent with digital execution, ensuring the intervention would be evidence-informed, mobile-accessible, and adaptable to patient feedback without creating operational complexity.

Solution

Radiant Digital designed and developed a mobile-centric web application to support the creation and testing of a digital health intervention focused on lymphoma survivorship. The solution enabled survivors to engage with structured educational modules, interactive activities, and shared inputs from other survivors.

By leveraging mobile technology and integrating digital workflows aligned with electronic health record (EHR) systems, Radiant Digital created a connected ecosystem that guided users toward healthier living practices and informed decision-making throughout their survivorship journey.

Technologies Used

  • Front-end: Ionic with React
  • Back-end: Drupal

Outcomes

The solution delivered meaningful engagement and measurable value for participants. Through the application:

  • Participants actively engaged with survivorship-focused modules and activities
  • Users gained knowledge on managing life after lymphoma treatment
  • Survivors benefited from insights and experiences shared by others with similar journeys

Together, these outcomes supported improved awareness, confidence, and preparedness for long-term survivorship.

Conclusion

Radiant Digital successfully addressed a critical survivorship gap by translating the client’s vision into a scalable, mobile-first digital solution. By combining patient input, clinical insights, and modern digital technologies, the intervention empowered lymphoma survivors with knowledge, community-driven support, and practical guidance, extending care beyond treatment and into long-term well-being.

By designing the solution with modular architecture and mobile-first principles, Radiant Digital enabled future expansion, broader program rollout, and adaptation to additional survivorship and chronic-care use cases, positioning the initiative as a foundation for long-term digital survivorship innovation rather than a one-time deployment.
